About Dr. Thomas Giegerich

Dr. Giegerich is a third-generation, Absecon Island native, whose grandfather immigrated from Germany, and was one of the first, salaried Atlantic City firemen, in 1904. A Holy Spirit senior class president, he lettered in varsity football. As a 7-year veteran lifeguard of the Ventnor Beach Patrol, he competed in the ocean rowing races. He was a member of the Chi Psi national fraternity. He earned his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania, with election by the faculty to the National Honor Society – Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Thereafter he served for 3 years as an Air Force dental officer at our base in Seville, Spain. There he became fluent in Spanish, and traveled extensively through Europe and Africa. Returning home from Spain, he practiced general dentistry in Clementon, NJ before taking his Orthodontic residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2010 he relocated his practice to the new, state-of-the-art, Churchill Building, in Galloway. His love of the sea, and his extensive boating, inspired the nautical theme of his office décor. He also enjoys a diverse taste in music, art, and international travel. He has 3 great sons and 6 wonderful grandchildren nearby, and loves the energizing rapport.
