Full Marketing Profile: Dr. Virginia Mendell was born in Brazil and raised in Australia, bringing a unique international perspective to her dental practice. She earned her first dental degree in Brazil, where she successfully ran her own private practice for over a decade. In 1998, she moved to the United States and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry.
From 2003 to 2025, Dr. Mendell practiced in Connecticut, where she was repeatedly recognized with America’s Best Dentist awards for her excellence in patient care. Her clinical interests include cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, restorative and implant dentistry, as well as a wide range of surgical procedures, including extractions and bone grafting to support future implant placement.
A lifelong learner, she has completed advanced training at the Dawson Academy and the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and is highly skilled in using lasers across various dental treatments. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
Dr. Mendell is passionate about delivering quality dentistry in a comfortable, friendly environment.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new cultures through travel, painting, fashion, and design, and taking long walks in the park with her dogs. A lover of literature, she also appreciates getting lost in a good novel. She stays up to date in the field through ongoing national and international continuing education courses and seminars.
