About Dr. Wendy (Wanyun) Xue
PLEASE READ: We are happy to announce the addition of a Certified Hygienist to our practice on Saturdays to accommodate more families with parents who work full time. Dr. Wendy will examine each patient personally and speak with parents about any and all concerns.

Dr. Wendy is a Board Certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and is an active member of AAPD, ADA and local dental societies. She graduated from Columbia University and went on to UMDNJ to complete her pediatric residency.
Dr. Wendy takes a rather conservative approach to dentistry and believes that prevention should be the main goal in pediatric dentistry. She believes in not only educating the parents in caries prevention, but also in building a positive and trusting relationship with the children. "Establishing a dental home early in a child's life is the most important factor in preventing disease and creating a comfortable environment for patients". "Dental fear is something that can develop at an extremely young age and continue into adulthood, and I believe that building relationships while treating disease is the key."
Dr. Wendy is also trained in treating children with special needs, as well as children and adolescents with dental anxiety. Dr. Wendy is experienced in various behavioral management and sedation techniques, so there are treatment options catered toward every single child. Each child is special, and Dr. Wendy will make sure each patient feels this way from the minute they walk into her office.
