The staff was incredible and so accommodating. Christy that did my X-RAYS was wonderful and efficient. Absolutely adored Jordan, my hygienist, she was so informative, helpful, and fun! Dr. Whitney was great and so kind! The facility is absolutely beautiful. I’m actualy excited for my next visit which is a feeling I’ve never had before with dentistry. Thanks a bunch bling dental :)

Dr. Whitney grew up in the dental office. She spent many hours in her father’s practice, whether for fun or for treatment (she had braces THREE times!). However, it wasn’t until she accompanied her father on medical mission trips in high school that she decided to follow in his footsteps. It was there she realized her desire to help others reach and maintain optimum oral health, and how important that is to one’s overall health and wellbeing!
Attending dental school in her home-state of Missouri, Dr. Whitney graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she had a record of success both academically and clinically. Since graduating, she has experience treating a wide variety of dental procedures. However, the art and design required to achieve a beautiful, lasting smile keep her especially drawn to cosmetic dentistry and always striving to provide her patients with, not only a healthy smile, but one they are proud to show off!
Dr. Whitney really values the relationships that can form in the dental chair. She has a relaxed demeanor which helps to put her patients at ease. She recognizes that all patients’ needs and wants are different, and she opposes a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to treatment planning. She wants to partner with her patients to come up with the best treatment plan, one that’s customized to their specific needs. She also believes that you can never be over-informed when it comes to your oral health, and really values patient education.
Always a lifelong learner, Dr. Whitney values staying up-to-date on the latest treatment options. To help her maintain this, she is a member of multiple organizations, including the National and Local chapters of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. She also participates in local study clubs and regularly attends continuing education courses. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Whitney loves spending time with her husband, Michael, and their Golden Mountain Dog, Jackson. You will most likely find them outdoors, usually hiking, or in one of their favorite restaurants, eating Portland’s delicious food.

10/10 would highly recommend Dr. Whitney. I have dental anxiety and Dr. Whitney has made treatment feel like a piece of cake! She is kind, gentle and I always leave feeling comfortable and happy. I could not even imagine seeing anyone else! She is the best 100%.
