William D. Compton Jr., DDS grew up in Germantown, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. At first dental school was difficult for him, as he was starting with peers that were 10 years younger than him. However, his perseverance was due to his passion about being honest with people who need help and know very little about medicine or dentistry.
Dr. Compton keeps up on the latest techniques and has experience treating older patients in the past and attempts to be more sensitive to treatment options for them. He is a member of the Psi Omega dental fraternity and has volunteered at Mission on Mercy. Dr. Compton is inspired by the actions of compassionate, strong individuals and tries to be one himself. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, cooking, singing and listening to opera.
