About Dr. Yoonchan Paul Han
Dr. Y. Paul Han received his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, he went onto complete a General Practice Residency training at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and his Oral and Maxillofacial surgical internship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan, NY (Now Mount Sinai West Hospital). Dr. Han has been trained in all phases of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Medical College-Westchester Consortium, level I trauma center, where he served as a chief resident. During his Oral & Maxillofacial training, Dr. Han gained extensive experience in sedation, facial trauma, craniofacial surgery, maxillofacial reconstruction, maxillofacial pathology and dentoalveolar surgery including bone grafting and dental implants.
Dr. Han practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with particular emphasis on dental implants, wisdom teeth extraction, IV anesthesia and facial reconstruction.

Dr. Han saw me for my jaw pain and recommended and removed all 4 wisdom teeth the day I went in. My insurance didn’t cover anesthesia or platelet packing that would have protected me from dry socket. I was awake during the procedure. It hurt a lot. And kost way more than expected.
My recovery was brutal and the pain got worse. The staff communicated over text that it was normal and to keep cleaning the area and waiting. The pain got so bad that I insisted I come in. I had dry socket on one side and they filled it with gauze and ointment - which incurred a hefty fee. Less than two days later the gauze slipped out and I was back to being in excruciating pain. I contacted Dr. Han’s office but he was on vacation, so I had to find a different doctor to go to.
The new doctor confirmed dry socket on both sides and gave me an ointment to treat the pain at no charge. After our conversation, I’m perplexed as to why the holes were not packed or sewn closed to begin with.

Have extracted 3 wisdom teeth with Dr. Paul Han and all experiences have been smooth. Dr. is very knowledgeable and patient, I had a dry socket after one removal due to not paying attention to the aftercare and Dr. made sure to see me right away and help ease my pain/fight the infection. Highly recommend this provider and office, the front desk/ dental assistants are also very welcoming and make sure to explain all the insurance and out of pocket charges ahead of procedure. 10/10

The experience was very pleasant. The office staff was friendly and cordial. Dr. Han was very calming, thoroughly explained and answered all my questions about the procedure. He will let you know whether or not you should have or delay the procedure. At the end of the consultation, I was given a breakdown of exactly how much I would have to pay after out of pocket. I really liked the atmosphere in this practice. I definitely recommend The Park Oral Surgery.

My implant was done in about 10 minutes with local anesthesia, and Dr. Han was very reassuring the whole time; the office reached out ahead of time to make sure I was fully aware of the costs and outcomes. They also called me afterwards to check in on how I was doing.

Writing this after my wisdom tooth extraction consultation.
Dr. Han was extremely thorough when explaining the treatment plan for extraction. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, especially the two women at the front desk. They clearly explained the costing for the procedure and answered all my questions.
Will update this review following the procedure, but would absolutely recommend this practice just for their kindness and upfront explanation about cost

While removing wisdom teeth is never pleasant, I felt like I was well taken care of here. The staff were warm and friendly and sweet, and Dr. Han was knowledgeable, swift, and calm. If I needed oral surgery again I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Everyone at this office made my wisdom teeth extraction a breeze. I was so nervous but I felt secure and in good hands. Two of my teeth were impacted but despite this, the surgery only took about 30-40 minutes. I got the IV anesthesia which was also super easy and made the process even better. Highly recommend this office to everyone!

Had an extremely smooth and most pain-free wisdom tooth extraction done with Dr. Han! The procedure was extremely quick and the recovery was very smooth. I was pretty much back to normal within 4 days of surgery. Highly reccomend going to Dr. Han for your oral surgery needs, and the staff at The Park Oral Surgery is also great!

Dr. Han and his team are awesome — I can’t recommend them enough. I came in to have two wisdom teeth pulled and they made me feel comfortable and assured from the moment I walked through the door. Dr. Han was very efficient and professional. His team got me in right away even when I showed up an hour before my appointment. His assistant was very professional, calming and empathetic. Dr. Han listened to my concers, went over my xrays with me and gave me a clear diagnosis and treamtent plan. He was able to do my procedure quickly and there was very little discomfort. As a phyisican myself, I was very impressed with Dr. Han, his staff and his office. Would 100% recommend him.

Dr. Han is a class act. My procedure entailed the extraction of three wisdom teeth. It was seamless and pain free. Han has a wonderful demeanor and can effectively communicate the work that needs to be done. He is a seasoned professional. The front office offers first rate service across the board from the front office. He has a great team. This is the place you want to go to get work done on your teeth. Trust me.

Front desk staff member Donna was very nice, fast responding and accommodating. If you’re a new patient I highly suggest filling out your registration form prior to your visit. Wait time was very brief. The technicians were super friendly, informative, organized, and efficient. I had 2 wisdom tooths removed and the techs were very reassuring and supportive throughout. Really good visit! I got my wisdom teeth x-ray, consult, and procedure all at once. They were very clear in explaining everything, and also very efficient and knew what they were doing during the procedure. I felt like I was in safe hands, and since I chose not to be put to sleep, I was asked all throughout if I was doing okay and encouraged that I was doing great. I didn’t catch her name - but the dental assistant was very kind and very helpful. She went out of her way to make me feel safe and cared for. The front desk staff as well.

The office staff was very helpful and friendly. From the call and emails prior to my in-person visit, Keldsy was able to help me with all my questions and concerns. She was very knowledgeable especially with insurance coverages and very clear about out of pocket costs. The nurse that prepared me for my consultation and wisdom teeth extraction was very calming and friendly as well.
Dr. Han was able to accommodate the procedure on the same day. He was polite and informative. I extracted three wisdom teeth that day and it was a speedy procedure. I was out of there after an hour even with sedation.
Although, it’s only been one day after my procedure, my recovery has been going well. No issues yet!
This office is also practicing all required COVID procedures which made me feel safe and comfortable being treated there. Everything was very clean. Would highly recommend.
