Dr. Youngmo Kang graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Kang went on to complete his general practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Kang has been treating patients in his private practice since 2009 and he understands the importance of staying current with the latest advancements in dental materials and techniques by attending courses and studying dental journals.
Dr. Kang is a proud member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and continues to work on a fellowship for both organizations as well as being a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists after implant residency from Malo Smile USA under the supervision of Dr. Iyer Shanker , past president of American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He also has earned the Master of Orofacial pain and Oral Medicine from USC and passed the written exam of American Academy of Orofacial pain. He is licensed to serve in both New York, New Jersey and California.
Dr. Kang welcomes patients of all ages and aims to deliver the best and most comfortable treatment options available. He strives to gain the trust of his patients by recommending services that they need, rather than what will be the most expensive.

This was my first time going to this dental office and it exceeded my expectations. Very friendly and welcoming. Explained everything during the exam. They take pictures of everything to show the work they completed before and after. They even asked me what I wanted to watch on Netflix (with the TV on the ceiling) while I was getting my fillings done. I have officially found my home dental office. Everyone from the dental assistants, dental hygienist, to Dr. Kang was professional and welcoming.

The staff and dental hygienist were fantastic. Super communicative and aware of potential little discomforts i may be experiencing.
I asked a ton of questions and they were happy to answer them all and show me before and afters of my teeth so i could see the quality of their work.
I had a few problem areas and Dr. Kang was happy to look at them and answer my questions as well as show me what he was seeing so I could understand the problem areas better.
10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Dr. Kang is a fantastic dentist! He did a very thorough cleaning quickly, and numbed my gums first so there was minimal discomfort. He is very knowledgeable and taught me a lot during my short appointment. Apparently my saliva produces more calcium than average, and that’s mostly a good thing. Who knew? Dr. Kang did, I’m glad to have him as my Dentist.
