About Dr. Zoya Zak
Dr. Zak believes dentistry at its best involves truly working with people and goes beyond merely treating teeth.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She completed her residency in general practice at New York Methodist Hospital, followed by two years in a post-graduate implant program at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Zak is certified in facial fillers, Botox, and Invisalign. She is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care and attention to both new and existing patients.

She is VERY nice but she doesn’t listen. She will engage in conversation, respond appropriately and does good work. My issue is I requested several times for her to bill me for an entire procedure (especially if I had to come back to finish it) but every time I came back I was being charged for each part of the procedure. It didn’t make sense to me. She did it several times. Then when I got fed up and looked for a new dentist… she wouldn’t send me my medical record! I requested it via email and called several times before I gave up. I will give her kudos for being very nice, professional and doing good work BUT I needed her to listen to me regarding payment. No one wants to pay 3 different bills. Also, I have every right to my dental records but she still hasn’t given them to me. Smh.

Horrible. Never met a dentist that felt more like a salesman. Extremely pushy to get cosmetic surgeries and procedures done. Went for teeth cleaning and she spent less than 15 mins cleaning and more time I recommending procedures.

Dr Zoya really cares, and it shows. She found 2 cavities that my previous dentist visit did not find 2 months before. The fillings are indistinguishable from the tooth.

She handled everything very well. I booked an appointment with her at the last minute, with insurance I had never used before and some how she made sure I didn’t have to reschedule.
She took the time to fully assess what I need to get my teeth back to a healthy state and provided a cleaning. In the process of doing this I would say she was the most caring and considerate dentist I have ever had. She genuinely cared about my comfort and did everything in her ability to make the visit as pleasant as possible.
She was also very considerate of the cost of future visits and what my insurance would cover. She made sure to speak to my insurance provider herself to get an understanding of my coverage.

Dr. Zoya Zac was very sweet and generally flexible with payments but there were some errors on their end with fees I was charged and I wasn't returned money until I inquired with Cigna. My root canal treatment although was top quality took at least 4-5 months to complete so that was never ending but she did a fabulous job overall. I just felt like I was shelling a lot out of pocket but then again it had been a while since I went to dentist.

Dr Zak is the best. I has been going to her for yesrs because shes a great dentist, however I moved away and had gone two years seeing another dentist. Today I decided to make the trek to modtown for a cleaning and she warmly welcomed me back, recalling that my dog was sick last time I was here there and asking if all was well. What a great person!
Anyway she takes good care od your teeth and ive never eperienced pain with her procedures. Also the office is very nice.

Zoya Zak and her staff were very welcoming and helpful.The office itself is very clean and modern. Dr.Zak was extremely informative and gave me all of my options when it came to treatment and next steps. Definitely would recommend anyone in the Manhattan area if in need of a new dentist office.

Love love love. I went in for a semi-emergency dental issue and was pretty scared about what was wrong, etc. Dr Zak was incredibly calm and soothing, and got to the root of the problem extremely quickly and clearly outlined next steps to resolve it. Despite the unpleasant circumstances that led me to schedule an emergency appt, this (ironically) ended up being one of my most pleasant dentist experiences of all time. HIGHLY recommended.

I am a new patient with Dr. Zak - I came in because I was having terrible pain and my regular dentist was unavailable. Dr. Zak had to perform an emergency root canal. She was very good at making sure I understood what was happening and what needed to happen. I was happy with my experience in the office, which says a lot considering I had to have a root canal!

Dr Zak is hands down the best dentist ever. I am deathly afraid of dentists, and she changed that for me. I had to have a root canal and she mad it as comfortable as possible. I'm an RN and I'm used to giving shots to patients, but to have one strong at me about to go in my mouth, I was a big baby and she was so sweet and patient. I would recommend her to anyone. Also the Secretary is beyond friendly and super sweet.

I absolutely loved Dr. Zak, well as much as one can love a dentist anyway. No one likes going to the dentist but Dr. Zak was so nice and made sure I was doing ok the entire time. If you want the best care possible then go to her! I didn't even realize the damage my old dentist was doing to me because I didn't know any better. She showed me everything and is going to try and help me. So glad I switched to her, she will be my dentist for as long as possible.

Dr Zak was AMAZING!! She is so sweet and make you feel so comfortable. She truly thinks of her patients first before anything. I had a appointment at 10am and because she had a emergency visit before me my appointment got delayed by a hour. She kept apologizing for having me wait and also waived some very expensive procedures I had since I was waiting so long. I truly appreciated that and she didn't have to do that, I just love the fact that she understood her patients were inconvenienced and tried to do something to make be feel compensated.after not having a personal dentist in so many years I now have one and won't be switching anytime soon.

Dr. Zak is definitely my new dentist. I haven't been committed to a dentist for years—I've moved from dentist to dentist with each new insurance plan. But this time I'm staying put. She is the kindest, warmest, most gentle dentist and she clearly knows what she's talking about. She even told me things about my mouth that I'd never been told before, like the reason taking xrays hurts is because I have bony growths in my lower pallet.

She was nice and got the job done. Their business is probably new as her and the hygenist were stumbling around looking for this tool or that tool. Both very nice and the place was clean..
But I don't think I'll go back as they seemed to be a bit pushy and quick to recommend products and services...

Gina and Dr. Zak were wonderful. They were extremely warm and welcoming and also put me at ease though I was nervous (it has been some time since I'd seen a dentist). We discussed a treatment plan and several options right on the spot. I highly recommend this office.
