“I selected this doctor based on location and insurance coverage. I had been out of the country for a few years and didn't have a PCP and I'm still re-acclimating to US Healthcare :( ...but I was starting to feel sick and needed to find a doctor.à
I was a bit nervous about the quality of care before my first appointment since they also have a focus on less general health (a lot of medical spa offerings), but the RNs and assistants clearly knew their stuff and made it clear to me that this is a real medical practice. I have a follow up appointment next week, and I'm already feeling better after taking thier advice. ”

About Dr. Harmanpreet Buttar
Harman Buttar, MD, is the founder of Vital Clinic and Spa in Cypress, Texas. Her mission is to provide high-quality family medicine services to patients living in and around Harris County.
Dr. Buttar earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas, Houston. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at The Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Houston, Texas. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
After encountering health struggles within her immediate family, Dr. Buttar began exploring the role of environmental and biochemical factors in overall health and response to medical treatments. This interest led her to train in Functional Medicine through the American Academy of Functional Medicine (AAFM) and The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
Recognizing the importance of a multi-faceted and personalized approach to wellness and vitality, Dr. Buttar created Vital Clinic and Spa to provide customized services in functional medicine, primary care, preventative care, mental health, skin care, diet, and weight management.

This is more of a spa. I was originally impressed with the doctor but the rest of the staff flounders around her direction. Plus when I told the nurse I was trying to lose weight she suggested their pills and plan and when I told her they previously made me suicidal she pushed again.
