About Dr. Daniel Alfonso
Dr. Alfonso had his undergraduate education at Dartmouth, his MD degree from Emory University after which he completed both his Orthopedic residency and his Hand Surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Joint Diseases at New York University. He has special expertise in arthroscopic and minimally invasive hand and upper extremity (hand to shoulder) surgery and in the diagnosis and management of hand and upper extremity pain & nerve disorders. He treats carpal tunnel, trigger finger, hand injury and trauma, arm injury and trauma, elbow conditions and injuries and shoulder conditions and injuries.

Dr. Alfonso was very Professional and forth coming about the treatment options were after patiently hearing all my concerns and answered all my questions . we decided that he would treat my Hand issue right there in his office that morning. I saw him for a similar issue back in April 2023 and the results have been long lasting. I would certainly recommend Him without hesitation .

Dr. Alfonso is a very pragmatic, straight forward and works with the patient's needs with no alternative agenda..some surgeons are very liberal and non-judicious in wanting to jump to surgery..This doctor is a critical thinker.. I recommend him to anyone with wrist damage, whatsoever..

I had to wait until nearly 3:00 PM to see the doctor for a 1:45 appointment. I like Dr. Alfonso but my time is important to me. When you give me a 1:45 appointment I show up at 1:30 because I know the doctors time is important. I would like to receive the same treatment in return.

I visited Dr. Alfonso for a surgery consultation after breaking my finger. While I did wait one hour to be seen, I was thankful for the wait because Dr. Alfonso is the best. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He answered all of my questions and gave me more than enough information which allowed me to feel at ease about surgery. The surgery went well and I am on the road to recovery thanks to Dr. Alfonso. I would 100% recommend his services.

I was able to get an afternoon appointment in only two days. Since I was a new patient it took me a while to fill out all the paperwork, but as soon as I finished filling it all out they called me in to take x-rays. I was treated politely and in a friendly manner by every staff member, as well as by the doctor. I have no complaints about my visit.
