About Dr. Alena Bukhar
Dr. Alena Bukhar is devoted to providing quality personal orthodontic care. Her gentle and informative approach helps patients to achieve their goals in creating healthy and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Alena earned her dental degree in 2008 in Belarus. After moving to the United States, she continued her study at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, which she graduated from in 2015 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While in dental school she discovered her passion for orthodontics and successfully accomplished 3-year specialized training in UIC Orthodontic Residency program, graduating in 2018 with a master’s degree in Oral Sciences.
Dr. Alena constantly improves her knowledge by attending dental conferences and study clubs. Her mission is to provide an excellent orthodontic service using the most recent and advanced techniques.

I visited Smile Gallery Orthodontics on 02/28/20, my visit with the staff were great! They were patient, detailed and handled me with care. The office is cozy and peaceful, offering a welcomed vibe. I’m excited to start my care to better my smile.

I had such a great experience with my inn-align treatment . From day one , the orthodontist and staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable. The staff is patient, kind , and always happy to answer all my questions! The whole process was simple and stress free!:)

I really appreciate how the clinic communicated not only through phone but also through text. Dr. Alena was super helpful in connecting my Invisalign trays from 6 years ago from California (treatment) to Chicago. She has saved me time and effort - and doing her best to make sure my treatment is efficient and affordable.

My experience was amazing here! The staff was super kind and Dr. Bukhar was so nice. She was an amazing doctor and she explained everything clearly and carefully. She was patient and kind. I would definitely go back to her and recommend her to anyone looking for a pleasant orthodontist experience!

I love coming here. The doctor, Alena, is so kind, thoughtful, attentive, and works very fast and well. It's been almost a year of my treatment and I've loved every bit of it! I would recommend this clinic over and over to anyone who needs an amazing clinic.
