Getting to know Mistique Henry
Mistique is committed to being there for you every step of your journey. She has strived to create a practice that represents what she believes in: integrated mental health care that focuses on the whole person, with longer appointment times, access to speak directly to your provider when needed, and evening and weekend appointment availability, all while providing evidence-based psychiatric care. Mistique holds a Master's degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Ohio State University, which informs her compassionate and comprehensive approach to care.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Mistique is trained and skilled at assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide variety of mental health disorders and conditions. She uses a therapeutic, patient-centered approach, taking in full account of the impact that biological, environmental and social factors can have on mental health. She believes each person’s life experience is unique and will take the time to listen and ask questions to build a therapeutic relationship with you in order to make sure you feel your needs are being met and you are able to achieve both your short and long-term goals to improve your mental wellness.
**I am not currently accepting new patients that require stimulant medication for ADHD treatment. I can offer ADHD consultation/diagnosis assessment and non-stimulant medication options.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
The initial appointment consists of a 60-minute psychiatric evaluation, which includes a diagnostic assessment and establishing a treatment plan. The following appointments consists of 30-minute follow-up appointments.

Mistique was such a friendly presence. I was so comfortable that I was able to talk about things I’ve never told anyone and was relieved at how Mistique made me feel validated in those feelings. We spend about 2 hours together considering it was our first visit and it was so productive. She even suggested genetic testing and a new kind of therapy to help me which was so nice to have those options presented. Overall, a great experience and I am very thankful for her!
