About Dr. Islam Elkenawy
Dr. Sam Elkenawy is a board-certified orthodontist in Houston, TX. He received his Masters and Orthodontics Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was the chief resident. I came in as a brand-new patient during the holidays after unexpectedly losing possession of my retainer, and I needed a very fast turnaround. The team at Elara Orthodontics was incredibly understanding and helped me get a new retainer the same day, plus arranged to ship another one to my apartment — a lifesaver.
Everyone I interacted with, from the front desk to the assistants, was extremely kind and considerate. Dr. Elkenawy was fantastic — knowledgeable, patient, and clearly committed to his craft. He explained everything clearly and made sure I felt taken care of throughout the whole process.

Starting my smile journey here, I was unsure about braces or Invisalign. Dr. Elkenawy went over the pros and cons for both; also prices were reasonable too. So glad I found this place; wish I found it sooner. I will be taking my kids because they told me they treat both kids and adults too

Dr. Sam is everything I was looking for in my son’s orthodontic treatment. Starting from the office, I have never seen such a stunning office. The attention for the smallest detail is incredible and the staff is extremely welcoming and prepared. But the true star of the show is Dr. Sam. He is extremely courteous and he made me and my son feel at ease from the moment we met. He took the time to explain everything to us very clearly and his professionalism is outstanding. We could have not been any luckier to have Dr. Sam as our orthodontist (yes I did start my Invisalign journey with him as well) and I will never stop thanking the friend that recommended him to us. I would give him 100 stars if I could.

Dr. Sam was very nice, friendly and understanding. He is very knowledgable and keen to help in anyway he can. Also all the staff is very nice and informative. I would recommend to anyone. They are happy and they make you happy! I am thankful that I found this clinic.
