He was personable, while being professional. I will await my surgical procedure & aftercare to assess him further.

Office required a credit card, debit card, or checking account information before patient could be seen.

The Dr & his staff were all very helpful, friendly, & professional. I am going back in two weeks & have scheduled other procedures at their offices.
Verified patient
Unprofessional, inappropriate bedside manner. He literally pulled my sweater off me to inspect my skin instead of simply asking me to remove the sweater on my own. He was condescending and I felt uncomfortable.
The appointment was very quick!
Verified patient
Was very professional and helped with my problem.

Skin M.D.'s front office staff sometimes seems a little overwhelmed by their capacity. But once I got in Dr. Welsh and his assistant easily helped my skin concerns.

Unless your ance is extremely severe, he does not take your problems seriously. I went to him with skin issues I needed medication for and his reply was that it's "not that bad." I was not looking for a pep talk, I was looking for treatment. He has done the same for my brother, letting his acne get much worse before treating it. Would you do that in any other kind of MD? If I went in and got diagnosed for depression the doctor would never say, "well someone else's depression is much worse." Which is what Dr. Welsch continually would say, "some of my patients would kill to have your skin." You work in the cosmetic skin industry sir, people are looking to fix things that aren't necessarily crucial. I was not flattered, I was offended that he thought his judgement was needed in this. He also asked my family how we were paying for college, which is completely out of line. Being insensitive might not be in your best interest. I would never recommend him.
He is very professional. He does joke around to make you at ease. Waiting time from when nurse/cna leave room is very short til he comes in. I have recommended him to others.
The physician listened to what I had to say and addressed them all. Asked if I had any other concerns. Explained what he was going to do, before he did anything. Would highly recommend!!

Great doctor. Extremely happy with experience

Think he is great, that's why I keep going back to him. Never have to wait more than 5 minutes in a room. He always washes his hands before touching you, unlike other Dr's that I have been too. His bedside manner is awesome. He puts you at ease.
Very friendly and great knowledge.

nice friendly office, full of professionals.

I liked the doctor. However, I had several problems with the appointment. I filled out the online registration forms prior to my appointment day, so I was in the door at 8:53 for a 9am appt. There was a line to check in. I was sent to register with a woman who was not clear on how to enter my credit card information, so that process took 23 minutes.....I kept checking my watch because everyone else in line was registering, being seen and left before I was ready. I then waited another 25 minutes, making my appt an hour late by then. The doctor promptly came in, but immediately asked if I had come to my apt on time, as he stated he preferred to keep to his schedule. Five hours later, after being told my prescriptions would be sent to the pharmacy, the pharmacy had no record of the prescriptions at all. I called the doctors office, and of course his staff was already gone. No apologies, just told they would get a message and call me in the next business day. That would be Monday....another three days with an uncomfortable skin condition. The office staff were inefficient and more concerned about payment than service. Awful.
short wait time an excellent diagnosis

My appointment was great and Dr Welsch was great!

He was very professional and answered all questions and concerns. I felt he was very compassionate about his position and would certainly recommend his service to others.

I have been here before, and every time the experience is a good one. The doctor is polite and appears to care. The staff is all very friendly. I only had to sit in the waiting area for about 10 - 15 minutes before getting called in. My only complaint would be the lack of urgency. I tend to have to come with my daughter, who is currently 3 1/2. By the time we get into the exam room, she is restless and making the experience more stressful for me. Even though the visit doesn't last long, they don't pick up on the cues that I would like to speed things along as fast as possible. So I don't want to wait to meet new doctors, or wait around to pay for a medicated body wash. I want to get in and out, and get my prescriptions refilled.

Dr Welsch is very professional and very gentle.
Seems like a very efficient operation. He addressed my concerns immediately. It remains to be seen if the recommended medications and products will work.
My appointment with Dr. Welsch was great! The staff members were all very friendly, and able to answer all of my questions, or direct me to a source who could answer my questions. The facility was very clean, and had a very modern design.
Everyone in the office was great and very friendly. Dr. Welsch took the time to listen to me and made me very comfortable. He also went ahead and removed two moles that day so I didn't have to come back. Everyone was very respectful of me and my time!

Great doctor, wonderful staff, and assistant! I will definitely be going back for follow up appointments. Dr. Welsch was very professional and helpful!
The doctor was fine however when I arrived someone had mistakenly canceled my appointment and I had to wait an hour for them to squeeze me in. If my appt was cancelled by someone at the office in error I don't feel I should have had to wait!
Verified patient
I was there early, so I did have to wait a little bit, but they got me in before my scheduled time. I think I only had to wait 10 minutes. His assistant was nice, and Dr. Welsch was friendly. This was only my second time seeing him in over a year.

I thought he was excellent and so was his assistant Jennifer. Dr. Welsch also noticed a mole on my nose that concerned him and he removed it that same day when I was there for a rash on my arm. Both Dr. Welsch and Jennifer work well together and it was a great visit.
Was very pleased with everything from my reception at the front desk to the young lady that took me care of me. ( My fault I don't remember her name or title although she did tell me.) I thought dr. Welsh was very good and made me feel much better about the mark on my hand. Will most definitely recommend him and shin MD to others.
