About Dr. Divya Singh-Behl
Divya Singh-Behl MD, FAAD, FACMS is a board-certified dermatologist and a Fellowship-trained MOHS Micrographic Surgeon who joined Deerfield Dermatology in 2007. Dr. Singh-Behl serves as the Medical Director and President of Deerfield Dermatology.
From a very young age, Dr. Singh-Behl had a calling to be a doctor. At the age of 24 Dr. Singh-Behl graduated from an exclusive 6-year BS/MD program at the Northeast Ohio Medical University in Northeastern Ohio. Dr. Singh-Behl then completed her internship in Internal Medicine and Residency in Dermatology at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic while serving as the Chief Resident. She honed her skills as a Staff Clinical Dermatologist at The Cleveland Clinic before deciding to pursue an exclusive fellowship in Mohs Micrographic surgery at The Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Singh-Behl’s Mohs Micrographic surgery training was taught by the leading doctors in Mohs Micrographic surgery who performed surgeries on challenging and complicated cases. Moreover, Dr. Singh-Behl directly learned Mohs surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Philip Bailin, the first fellow trained by Dr. Frederick Mohs (i.e. inventor of Mohs surgery) and former Chairman of the Cleveland Clinic’s Dermatology Department. Through this rigorous fellowship, Dr. Singh-Behl became a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS). This membership is only offered to surgeons who have trained at established fellowship programs with the highest standards.
Dr Singh-Behl has been selected as a “Top Doctor” by Castle Connolly in 2023 and 2024. Dr. Singh-Behl is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of MOHS Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and Chicago Dermatologic Society. Dr. Singh-Behl is on staff at North Shore University Health System and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Dubuque.

My visit addressed skin cancer on my thigh. Dr. Singh-Behl expertly removed the cancer, sewed the area perfectly and answered all of my questions. Dr. is A#1!
