About Dr. Pouya Momtaz

Dr. Pouya Momtaz grew up in Boston, MA. He was the middle child, with two sisters. He desired to help people, build relationships with them, and be along for the ride of smile transformations. Thus, he chose orthodontics. It helped that his father, whom he looked up to, was also a practitioner. He completed his dental school degrees and a one-year residency in Boston. Making a daring move, he decided to pack his bags and move to Vegas. Before practicing as an orthodontist here, Dr. Pouya Momtaz completed a one-year fellowship in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics and an orthodontic residency at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. After getting a taste of the area, Dr. Momtaz chose to stay here to practice. Today, he’s now watching patients’ journeys — from start to finish — when transforming their smiles, and he loves every minute. In his free time, he’s outside grilling, playing basketball, or working on his Jeep, all the while surrounding himself with family and friends.
