About Dr. David Jourabchi
Dr. David was born and raised in Los Angeles before moving to Phoenix, Arizona to fight off sugar bugs and fix cavities for kiddos and individuals with special behavioral or healthcare considerations. In his spare time, he enjoys watching superhero movies (with an allegiance to Spider-Man), hiking, biking, swimming and a tasty BBQ.
Dr. David earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA School of Dentistry and continued to learn how to improve health outcomes for pediatric and special needs populations. Eager to learn more, Dr. David moved to Brooklyn, NY to pursue a specialty in pediatric dentistry at Interfaith Medical Center, further increasing his knowledge of treating pediatric populations with an emphasis on treating special needs children and adults. Residency prepared Dr. David to treat patients with laughing gas (nitrous oxide), oral conscious sedation, and general anesthesia.
With sedation as a last resort, Dr. David helps treat cavities and gum disease with a holistic approach that begins with oral hygiene at home, healthy food/beverage choices and a medical model for chronic disease management and prevention.

I have taken my daughter to several dentists and orthodontists in the past. This was the first time my daughter felt heard and understood. Dr. Jourabachi took his time to carefully explain his assessment and provided additional information and advice that no one had ever explained or cared to share with us before. The front desk and dental assistant were beyond sweet & very attentive. Dr.David was extremely encouraging and calm with my son.
