“Dr. Chan was great and was able to help me immensely with a rash I had that was beyond itchy and uncomfortable! I was in so much discomfort and he gave me relief and I was grateful. He was thorough and had great bedside manner. He asked questions and treated my rash. And he was able to see me right before X-mas and gave me his number to call him if anything came up. He is a very thorough dermatologist. Thank you!”

About Dr. Aaron Chen
Dr. Chen is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in hair transplant, cosmetic dermatology, & medical dermatology. He treats men and women for hair loss with a variety of procedures and treatments, including robotic hair transplants, surgical hair restoration, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments, medications, and low-laser light therapy. With his extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology, he brings cutting-edge solutions to skincare. Dr. Chen attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Biddeford, Maine and completed his dermatology residency at Larkin Community Hospital, South Miami, Florida, serving as chief resident. Prior to working in dermatology, he trained in Family Medicine. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Very satisfactory experience. Insurance data submitted easily online and in advanced. iPad given to quickly provide all medical history. Staff was attentive. Dr. Chen was thorough and clearly explained condition and treatment. Prescriptions filed online at the office.

My experience was excellent. The doctor was incredibly patient, thorough, and genuinely caring. They took the time to explain every detail in a way that made me feel understood and reassured. I felt listened to from the moment I walked in. The visit was smooth, the staff was welcoming, and I left with full confidence in my treatment plan. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend this doctor to anyone.

I would not recommend Dr. Chen. He has very poor bedside mannor, talked at me instead of letting me ask questions and immediately started touching my face without gloves and without asking for consent. He was poking sensitive blemishes that I had, which made them irritated and made blunt/harsh comments about my skin. Saying that whatever I was doing clearly wasn't working. He didn't try to understand my acne issues and history and immediately wanted to put me on medication, when I made it clear I wanted a take a topical path. He told me what items they will prescribe me but didn't explain why and didn't provide any additional information for my reference.
I had a lovely experience with the women working the front desk, and they were truly the only enjoyable part of this first time interaction with this office and doctor. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this office or this doctor.
