About Dr. Aarti Kumar
Dr. Aarti Kumar is a New York native and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University. She then went on to the New York College of Podiatric Medicine to obtain her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency training at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, NY. She served as chief resident during her last year of training.
She is board certified in podiatric medicine and board qualified in foot surgery. Dr. Kumar focuses on patient’s needs and provides comprehensive foot and ankle care. Her training allows her to manage patients both with conservative and surgical treatment options. She has surgical privileges at Northwell Huntington and Plainview hospitals.
Dr. Kumar greatly believes that our feet are the foundation of our body and our health is crucial for your overall well-being. Dr, Kumar is attentive and patient. She really took the time out to speak to you. Being in health care, I admire providers who take the time out to explain the plan to the patients in terms easy to understand. I did not feel rushed during my visit. She exhibits professionalism and is attentive. I highly recommend her. Receptionist was pleasant and made check in a breeze. Advance filing in of forms was really helpful. Made wait time shorter.

Doctor Kumar taker her time to explain everything disgusted in the visit. She doesn't make you wait for hours then sees you for 5min. She cared hat I understand my course of treatment.

Doctor was a great at communicating and relaying to me what needs to be done. What I didn't like was the uncaring way the sample biopsy collection was done. Toe nails were clipped leaving me with very short unsightly nails to go home with. The collection of samples were all put in one bag when I was told there might be different things happening between them. Drimmel was used on me without letting me know if it was cleaned/sanitized especially after telling me some things can be contagious.
