Dr. Aarti Mehta is a graduate of the University of Illinois Department of Psychiatry Residency Training Program and Women's Mental Health Fellowship, and is the founder of Terra Firma Behavioral Health, a specialized psychiatric practice that aims to provide modern and convenient psychiatric care to individuals throughout the Chicagoland area. Time is a luxury, and is often spent sitting in waiting rooms during lunch breaks or after work. Dr. Mehta hopes to eliminate the consumption of time and lack of privacy associated with the current medical system. Instead, she offers services both in office or via tele-psychiatry, where patients can have appointments via secure, encrypted videoconferencing from the convenience of their home, office, or any location suited to the patients needs. In addition, Dr. Mehta has specialized training in Reproductive Psychiatry, an emerging sub-specialty of psychiatry that focuses primarily on mental health issues related to a woman's reproductive life cycle. In an effort to further provide convenient services, Dr. Mehta also has
