The first time I saw this doctor I sat in the waiting room for an hour waiting for the RECEPTIONIST. As I was about to leave they came out and I was taken right back to see the doctor. On my second visit I waited for the receptionist for a half hour and went home.
Dr. Khan was very welcoming, thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to look at my imaging that was completed and suggest a medical plan of action. Dr. Khan answered all of my questions and provided hope.
Verified patient
Dr. Khan he is a very passionate man when it comes to your pain . I had spine surgery and was 4 weeks post op . The surrgery told me he only rights for pain medication for 10 days and if you still have pain see your primary care doctor . So instead I saw Dr. Khan who is the best. He really understands peoples pain and adresses it head on . He really is the best he will followme post op.
Verified patient
Dr. Khan hadn't seen me for a year but remembered quite a bit about me and listened carefully to what I said about my condition.

Doctor Khan is an absolutely amazing doctor, but his office admin makes it a horrible patient experience. I have hit so many road blocks with his receptionist. She gate keeps everything and lacks urgency and follow up. I have hit so many road blocks with her. The lack of communication and follow up is severely concerning when it's concerning his patients and their health and well being. She puts up a huge barrier where you can not get a hold of the doctor due to the fact she wants to own every process along the way but then sits on things with no urgency. Doctor Khan is so amazing but I'm dealing more with his receptionist than the actual doctor even after i have asked her to leave messages for him to call me back - still nothing.
It Was great
Verified patient

Very knowledgeable!
Verified patient
Dr khan is very professional, caring, smart and soft spoken doctor. He is very well qualified and experienced. He spent good amount of time listening to my problems and did not rush at all as compared to my past experiences with other doctors. He explained me what is the problem I am having and what are the best treatment options according to the latest research. He is very honest, straight forward and prefers conservative treatment options and doesn't push unnecessary tests or procedures. My experience from making the appointment till my encounter with the doctor was wonderful. I would highly recommend

I was very pleased with my visit. The front desk staff were prepared with my Zocdoc paperwork and I just had to sign a few forms. They were friendly and professional. The doctor was professional as well and personable. He treated me, made referrals, and seemed very knowledgeable. I will return if need be and will continue with his recommendations.

The doctor at first sounded interested and then he started on a triade of how awful NYC was and he hated living in Brooklyn. I took offense to that. He gave me a shot in my shoulder telling me everything would be fine. The next day I couldn't move my arm, He just said to put ice on it. I tried to see him again but I couldn't get an appointment. As far as insurance, he took it, but when I tried to pay my copay with my flex card, the office said I had to pay in cash. The receipt was on a cheap receipt book with no doctor name or tax id or address. My insurance would not accept that for re imbursment. The office said that's the only kind of recepit they gave. The office girl I delt with was awful and arrogant. The other girls seemed to be okay. I will never go back.. my pain has only increased and now I need to find another doctor.. OH,, after my first visit before the shot I had to have an xray and was told to call back in two weeks for the prescription, becuase they only did authroizations on tuesdays. WTF I was in alot of pain.. Since I work in radiology, I took it upon myself to get the approval and xray done in one day and demanded to be seen the next day. The rude girl said there was no openings for two weeks.. I sat in the office and said I would wait for a cancellation. That's when I got the shot and no follow up. They didn't have time.

This is the third time I used ZocDoc to make an appointment to visit with Dr. Khan. I had a 12:30pm appointment. At 2:42pm I was told that the doctor would not be able to see me due to he only does procedures today. Very disrespectful to patients time. Doctor even came out and tried to say it was my fault for making the appointment with ZocDoc. I had clicked that I had seen this doctor before when I made the appointment online. I explained I should of at least been told at 12:30 when I came in. No apologies. Was told to be quiet by front desk.

Caring, insightfull, ethical. So glad I was reffered to him. I would highly recommend Dr. Khan to anyone. His staff was also very helpfull.

I was very disappointed with this Doctor, I thought that he was a Pain Management Doctor that helped people with long term care for their pain problems. I found out that he does not offer such services only short term help. He did write me a refill on one of my medications but would not write the script for the other one that I have been taking for a couple of years that is the only thing that helps me deal with the pain that I suffer with. I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone who suffers from long term pain, plus his bedside manner is very short and curt.. Not a happy camper here... The other thing is he couldn't refer me to a long term care doctor..

Dr. Khan is an amazing doctor. When my brother was ill he came to see him at Methodist hospital multiple times a day to ensure his pain was being managed. He advocated for him and used an interdisciplinary approach to help treat my brother. He is a very kind and knowledgable Doctor. I highly recommend him!

I have suffered with pain on my right side for several years and I have visited other pain management doctors but, this is the first time that I feel that I was properly diagnosed and I am hopeful that I under Dr. Khans care I will find the relief that I need.
Verified patient
Dr. Khan is truly the best pain management doctor that I have ever met & had the pleasure to be treated by. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable & professional, Dr. Khan exudes genuine compassion & kindness that I find to be sorely lacking among most medical professionals.

The one That Allah have sent. The staff is young and great. love them they will be my Doctor. The Doctor understand what pain is, in looking for healing as long as I do as I'm told.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Khan! I have been referred to several PM Dr's that could not help me. He was sympathetic of my condition and is going to help me manage the pain. He took the time to examine me, and reviewed my hospital records carefully, and he listened. I have been through the runaround and I think I have finally found the right PM Dr.
This place is NOT set up for zocdoc! I gave the Doctor high ratings but his staff (the 2 heavy-set ladies in the front) are extremely unprofessional. It's clear they're unorganized. If I didn't already do my blood work there I would never return to this place even though Dr. Khan was nice.

I thought they needed to have a credit card machine. It's ridiculous that they only take cash or check and I would definitely have not used these services had I known this information before. My wife and me use a joint flexible spending account card for co-pays and it was extremely frustrating that I had to go to an ATM after checking-in.
Excellent doctor, very professional and thorough. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful! I am glad to have found such a competent doctor! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new doctor.

Dr Khan has an excellent bedside manner. He took his time to listen to my concerns and showed a lot of empathy. I felt at ease talking to him. His knowledge of his speciality is thorough and he has an ability to explain this in a language that I could understand. I really felt that Dr Khan wanted to help me and felt confident with his clinical decisions. I recommend him to anyone who wants to see a caring and professional pain management specialist.
