“Of course I will go back but since I am seeing a pain doctor I sort of expected the doctor would order some pain medication it appears the only way to get pain control is go go to emergency room I am an educated RN would still works everyday and I feel insulted that I have endured this pain for 4 months and no one will take me seriously. I am saddened that people who really need medication are penalized because in the past physicians overprescribed because their patients knew how to play the drug game. It seems to me that a doctors office can check to see if a person is drug seeker which I certainly am not but I understand everyone’s concerns oh the old lady is too old yet I work everyday & drive without tickets so I think I can handle 2 norco a day!! It hurts me when physicians pledge to do no harm yet under treatment is a form of negligence. I have helped people all my life and net questioned their Verasity

About Dr. Afzaal Iqbal
Dr. Iqbal is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a strong believer in treating chronic pain with a multimodal approach combining the latest interventional techniques along with effective medical, psychological, behavioral and exercise therapies. He has an avid interest in complex regional pain syndrome as well as cancer pain. He is a graduate of the SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed his anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Iqbal looks forward to serving the greater Orange County community with exceptional care and establish meaningful relationships with his patients.
