About Agatha Giannese
Agatha Lewandowska Giannese is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in dermatology and a passion for delivering personalized, evidence-based skin care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Oak Point University, graduating at the top of her class, and holds dual undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Biology from Resurrection University and Loyola University Chicago.
Agatha brings extensive clinical experience to her role, having treated a wide range of dermatologic conditions including, but not limited to, skin cancers, eczema, psoriasis, acne and infectious skin diseases at her previous practice. She is proficient in dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and electrodessication and curettage (ED&C), and is known for her thorough assessments and patient education.
With a strong background in emergency medicine, Agatha is recognized for her calm, detail-oriented approach to care. She is fluent in Polish, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient population.
Agatha is currently preparing to sit for the Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) board exam, further demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence. Upon certification, she will be among a select group of nurse practitioners in the country to hold this distinguished title.
Outside of work, she loves exploring new bike trails with her husband and traveling the world any chance she gets.
