Dr. Ahmet Altiner is a Board Certified Dermatologist and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College. He graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University in 2002. After obtaining his M.D. from New York University School of Medicine, he completed an internship in internal medicine and residency training in dermatology also at NYU. He is the recipient of the prestigious Howard Hughes Medical Institute scholarship, and studied effects of ultraviolet light on the human skin at the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Altiner has extensive training in medical and cosmetic dermatology. He has a specific interest in disorders of hair and nails, as well as laser surgery and advanced use of injection cosmetics such as Botox, Dysport, Sculptra, Radiesse and Juvéderm.

Well for my first visit the experience I must say was excellent. I had a 1 pm appointment I was in and out before 1:30pm. Plus the reception was warm, friendly and courteous. I definitely will recommend him to my friends, family and co-workers.

I have been seeing Dr. Altiner for over a year. I would recommend him for any young adults who struggle with adult acne. He is friendly, professional, and smart. I feel that he always listens to my concerns and is quick to develop a "game plan". I think that he understands the embarrassment and frustration that can go along with suffering from acne, and he is sensitive to these issues. Beyond that, he has a very nice office and awesome staff up front. I've never waited more than five minutes.

I've never seen another patient at Dr. Altiner's office. Their scheduling is very efficient, equating to priority time for you, the patient. Reaching this page you've read and heard all you need to; don't think about it, schedule your appointment. I've also had no problems reaching Dr. Altiner directly, which can be difficult with healthcare professionals.
