Unacceptable wait time. But I liked the doctor.
Quick and painless visit
He's a good doctor but the wait time was ridiculous. Both times I've come to the office I was waiting for 45 minutes, then saw the doc for only 10 minutes. A huge waste of my time. Better that they give more realistic appointment times or keep to the schedule.
He's always served me well because he knows what he's doing. He may only be with you a few minutes, but that's because he immediately knows how best to deal with your problem. Only issue is long wait...an hour past my appointment.
Very nice doctor, love my results
The doctor was very helpful and addressed all my concerns.
Very pleasant man, as well as competent.
Very long wait.
Dr Troccoli may be a competent physician but his matter of fact attitude and lack of engagement with the patient is very unappealing. I did not feel comfortable during the visit
Pretty good service and care.
Very profesional . His taking his time to explain the treatment . Caring
Excellent doc. Direct, quick, professional.
Dr. T was very professional- excellent bedside manner and unlike some doctors conducting annuals did not find something else to do.
Great doctor. He seems like he actually cares about his patients.
Good, attentive Doctor. Thorough.
My appointment with Dr. Troccoli was uncomfortable and I do not plan on going back. My appointment was at 6:00 and I was seen at 6:40. When I was getting undressed to put on the cloth robe, Dr. Troccoli opened the door without knocking. Upon entering the room again he did not 1) acknowledge and apologize that he had done that and 2) acknowledge the delay in appointment time. I came to the office for a full body mole check. I kept my bra and underwear on. While the Dr. was examining my stomach he lifted up my underwear without asking permission. I felt extremely uncomfortable by this behavior. He did not ask if he could touch my underwear or check me there. Even my gynecologist asks to touch my pelvic area before doing so. This may seem like an overreaction but my gut feeling was that it felt wrong. Will not go back.
Routine skin cancer check. Short wait. Doctor wasted no time and performed an exam and kept me informed.
no frills, just the facts ma'am, professional kind of doctor. took a quick biopsy, and i was out of the office in no time.
Dr. Troccoli seemed nice and was very knowledgeable.
Professional and to the point. If the wait was shorter it would have been an ideal visit.
Well worth the wait to see such a phenomenal doctor!
Courteous and friendly staff. Dr. Troccoli had a reassuring manner and conducted visit with full explanations of every procedure.
I had to wait 30 mins to see him, and then rescheduled because I was going to miss my next appointment. They rescheduled me for the same day that evening. When I got there I had to wait another 10 mins before he was free. The doctor was clearly expert, but he didn't do a very good job explaining the problem or what I needed to do about it. Very matter of fact, but curt and "I'm very busy" type of bedside manner. Fortunately, it was not a complex issue. Finally, the office waiting area was really run down, and the patient bathroom was in need of repairs. I hope that's all a sign that they focus on the medicine and deliver that affordably, but something tells me thats not the case...
The staff is nice and friendly the doctor was very nice and took time to ask questions
The doctor was great and his staff were polite and helpful. But I did not care for making a 10am appointment and having to wait nearly an hour before I saw the doctor. A busy doctor is probably a good doctor, and I have no complaints about the doctor at all. But there needs to be proper scheduling. If the average patient takes 20-30 minutes with the doctor, don't book 5 patients at the same time. Then, it might as well be a walk-in office.
He is not personable and long wait time
I saw the doctor at 1.24 p.m. for an 11 a.m. appointment. The time with the doctor lasted less than 5 minutes.
It was more than 15 minutes before they even took my insurance information.
Professional persona, but doesn't listen very well - he hasked me the same question three times - but overal I was satisfied with my visit.
I was dissatisfied with my experience with John Troccoli. The visit to the office took an extremely long time--the wait was over an hour, and once I got inside, he took a very cursory look at my skin, spending a total of five minutes with me, including the time it took to write the prescription. There was also a problem getting the medicine he prescribed for me: my pharmacy and I had to keep calling his office to authorize it, but either could not get a hold of anyone or could not get an answer as to why it was not going through. It took over a week after I put in the request for the office to authorize it, and then a few more days to get the medicine. I have never had that kind of experience anywhere else.
I'm a dermatology nurse, so I know when I'm being seen by a good dermatologist. This doctor was just OK. It was in the evening, so perhaps he'd been working all day. He was not particularly friendly. He looked at what I came in for minimally....more of an eyeballing of the area. He was good because he was close to home, but that's about it. The office staff was nice. Nice flat screen TV, with CNN on, in the waiting room.
Dr. Troccoli and his staff are fantastic! At first, there was a problem with my insurance, but the women at the front desk got it all sorted out! Apparently, with my insurance, I needed a referral and my primary care physician is on vacation for the next 2 weeks. The front desk ladies worked something out and was able to have me see Dr. Troccoli. He's the THIRD dermatologist I saw about my scalp problem and he was the only one to finally diagnose me and give me the shots that I needed. He also told me what to buy at the pharmacy. He's awesome! I'm going to see him again in 3 weeks and I'm sure that appointment will be just as fantastic! Thanks, guys!
Doctor was very professional. Listened to my concerns and past history, and made diagnoses based off all info. Even took a fungus test, just as a precaution, even though he did not think it was likely. Over all, I had a good experience with Dr. John Troccoli, and will be returning.
He didn't really ask questions, the nurse asked me more. The room was old and smelly needs a update. I won't be going here again. Took over 30 minutes to see me as my appointment was not in their system.
