About Dr. Aisleen Diaz
Dr. Aisleen Diaz is a Board Certified Dermatologist who received her Bachelor’s of Biological Sciences degree with Honors in Biology and a minor in Philosophy at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She obtained her Doctorate of Medicine at the Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, where she graduated at the top of her class, inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and was awarded with Academic Honors, Clinical Distinction, and the Wolters Kluwer Medical Education Excellence award. During her third and fourth year of medical school, she completed a year-long research fellowship in the Laboratory of Inflammatory Skin Diseases under the supervision of Dr. Emma Guttman-Yassky at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Diaz returned to South Florida where she completed her internship at the University of Miami-Holy Cross Hospital Program in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She then completed her dermatology residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, where she was chosen by her peers to serve as Chief Resident during her final year. She now serves as a Clinical Instructor in the department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital.

My first experience at Spring Street Dermatology was exceptional thanks to the amazing care provided by Dr. Diaz! I was a little bit nervous for my first ever Fraxel procedure, but Dr. Diaz’s outstanding bedside manner made me feel very comfortable. The procedure was painless, and I left my appointment feeling great. I will definitely be booking future treatments with Dr. Diaz, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking top notch dermatology care - cosmetic or medical.

This is my second time seeing Dr. Diaz. She was knowledgeable, a good listener and a communicator and addressed all my concerns. However, as soon as I leave the office, it’s extremely hard to connect with anyone in the office via their online portal which is their recommended communication channel. I have a prescription that requires a prior authorization. I messaged them twice via Klara with no response and had my insurance contact the office directly twice as well. Both times a message was left with the front desk. I have also called them directly multiple times but was never able to speak directly with their PA team. While the overall in-office experience was decent, the unresponsiveness was frustrating especially when it’s related to an urgent matter. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Loved my experience at Spring dermatology and with Dr. Diaz… she was beyond kind and everyone figured out my issue quickly/ sent me in the right direction asap!! Her bedside manner and advice was amazing and I felt very safe with her! In general, all of the staff members were kind and friendly, the office was gorgeous, and they were able to help me with my skin questions/ concerns quickly and effectively! Highly recommend!!

Great office at a great location with a great view of Central Park. Friendly staff, from receptionist to assistant to doctor. Listened to all concerns and they were all addressed very thoroughly. I booked a last minute appointment to see Dr. Diaz and was very happy with my experience. I was quite upset about the skin issue I was having and Dr. Diaz and her medical assistant were both so kind, patient, and reassuring. I felt so much calmer leaving the office after seeing Dr. Diaz.
The office itself was nice and clean, front desk staff were friendly, and I was seen on time. I will be using Spring Street Derm in the future.
