About Dr. Akinlawon Ayeni
Dr. Akinlawon Ayeni is a Primary Care Psychiatry Fellow and an Addiction Specialist Physician. He successfully completed a fellowship in Primary Care Psychiatry from UCLA-Irvine. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
He practices in Atlanta, GA, and also sees telehealth patients from Delaware, Maryland, and West Virginia. Dr. Ayeni holds full and unrestricted licenses to practice medicine and see patients living in these states.
Dr. Ayeni earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Lagos and completed a residency in Family Practice at Morehouse School of Medicine. He also holds a certification in Addiction Medicine, Prevention, and Treatment from the American Society of Addiction Medicine and a Master's in Business Administration from Emory University.
His professional memberships include the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Ayeni accepts insurance and self-pay patients, with fees of $200 for new patients and $100 for follow-ups.

Very great and attentive service, when the pharmacy didn’t have the prescription I needed the doctor and staff were extremely responsive and sent it elsewhere - twice! - despite it being outside of working hours. I was able to get my medicine in a timely fashion thanks to this exceptional team.
