Dr. Alan Rosenbloom is a graduate of Union College and Albany Medical College, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He completed his residency at Winthrop University Hospital and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. As a board-certified pediatrician, he is experienced in treating newborns, children, adolescents, and young adults for a wide variety of health concerns, including asthma, autism, allergies, and more.

Thorough and my 17 month old daughter took well to him!

Very unpleasant experience with this doctor and his office. He dismissed all concerns I had for both of my children. One of my children has a diagnosis already and he brushed it off and said, “Well all kids will be brats sometimes, even my own 8 year old can be a little brat when he wants to.” Such language is completely unprofessional and inappropriate. ?
He continued to try to FORCE me to have my children tested for lead. I explained we just moved here from out of state and have no concern for exposure to lead and that I am going to decline that blood draw. He got very firm a?nd raised his voice slightly and said he is required by law and that he has to and I had to tell him NO - THREE TIMES before he said “I guess if you want we can just skip it.” ABSOLUTELY unacceptable.
Then after I asked for a referral, he said “well fine but their not going to do anything” under his breath.
I WILL NOT return to this office and WOULD NOT recommend this doctor to any parent.
