About Alecia Dilisa
Alecia DiLisa, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in the treatment of weight and weight-related chronic conditions. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and completed her Master’s in Nursing at United States University. Alecia has a particular passion for chronic weight management due to her lifelong battle with her own weight. In 2016, after a lifetime of morbid obesity, she began passionately pursuing and dedicating herself to finding health and wellness. After losing 175 lbs and maintaining that weight loss for the last eight years, she has made it her mission to bring the same degree of health and wellness to all of her patients seeking the freedom and life on the other side. Alecia also provides family nurse practitioner care for individuals of all ages, treating both acute and chronic care needs. She utilizes a blend of holistic medicine alternatives combined with traditional medicine approaches to achieve maximal wellness in her patients.

Alecia was knowledgeable and thorough during my visit. I felt all my concerns were addressed, questions were answered, and the care plan was well explained to me. She has great communication skills, and made me feel completely comfortable and at ease during my visit! I’d definitely recommend her to anyone seeking a fantastic provider!

Alecia did an excellent job diagnosing and treating my issue effectively and efficiently. She was very attentive to detail and she worked hard not just to treat the symptoms but the actual issue itself. Seriously, she is the best Nurse Practitioner I have ever worked with. NP Alecia DiLisa is a first rate physician who gives her patients her undivided attention. She treats her patients as whole persons as opposed to discrete issues, and remembers your history from appointment to appointment. She is a good listener and answers all your questions, which is why I trust her fully to guide me on my health journey. Her level of dedication, caring, professionalism, and genuine love for her patients is amazing. Hard nowadays to find a health care provider who does their work out of care and concern and takes time to listen to you. I've seen many different physicians over the years, but none I've trusted more or had more confidence in.

Alecia is a super thoughtful and attentive provider, I always feel like my interactions with her are thorough and that she really hears me compared to other providers who have discounted my needs or concerns in the past. She works hard to provide a treatment plan tailored to my specific needs that actually gets me the results I'm looking for, I feel so blessed to have been able to find her!
