About Alex Rodriguez

A graduate of the University of North Florida, Alex earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology along with a minor in Psychology, and earned his Master of Medical Science degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant program in Orlando. Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed through the Florida Board of Medicine, Alex is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. He specializes in treating a wide range of dermatologic conditions in patients at all stages of life, and has a special focus on skin cancer detection and prevention. He performs surgical removal of skin cancers, cystic lesions and also excels at performing some highly sought after cosmetic procedures. Alex, who is fluent in Spanish, likes to train and compete in triathlons, and spending time with his family.
