Dr. Movshovich was thorough and took his time to explain what was going on with my daughter's vision. In addition, he had a good sense of humor and made us feel comfortable. Also, the staff was helpful and treated us well. I would definitely recommend that you visit if you're looking for a great ophthalmologist.

Dr. Movshovich graduated from prestigious Second Moscow Medical Institute
Dr. Movshovich completed his internship in internal medicine at New York Downtown Hospital and he did a residency in ophthalmology and retinal fellowship at Cornell University Medical College.
Dr. Movshovich, in 1981, was the recipient of the Laureate of the Young Moscow Scientists Association Award. This award is given for the best research project for scientists under 35 years of age.
Dr. Movshovich was also the recipient of the prestigious Komsomol prize, the highest prize given in Russia for the best scientific research work in 1983.
Dr. Movshovich has been published in Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
Dr. Movshovich is currently an Associate Professor at Cornell's Weil School of Medicine.
Dr. Movshovich is among the few physicians specializing in handling the most complicated cataract surgeries, including cases with pseudoexfoliation, secondary intraocular lens implantation, etc. Other surgeons routinely refer their difficult cases to his expert care.
Dr. Movshovich is the only russian-speaking retinal specialist in NJ. His reputation and skills are well known around the world due to his expertise in retinal and vitreous diseases and many patients travel from different countries to get surgery in his experienced hands.
