Went in for an ear condition that was very upsetting and the doctor was very cold. He asked and answered questions while staring at his laptop and made very little eye contact. Almost like he was listening to a lecture rather than treating a patient. He answered all of our questions very bluntly. The doctor was informative and i am sure he knows his stuff but it would have been nice to feel like he cared a little.
He was patient and knowledgable
Great doctor, great bedside manner, he finally gave me a diagnosis & a solution to my issues!!
He was very condescending and was short with all his answers. He made me feel as if I came in for nothing and that my symptoms were not valid. I waited over an hour for my appointment. The receptionist was not personable. I will never be coming back here again. I was also not informed about how much my procedure would amount to. It was not a good experience at all. He was by far the rudest doctor I have ever seen.
He spent a lot of time with me and was extremely nice and informative. He did not rush me and ask many questions I will be going to him again for a follow up. Robyn
There was about a 30-40 minutes wait before I was called into the room. The doctor came in about 15 minutes later. He was very funny and made me feel comfortable. The exam and information was very thorough. At the end, he asked if I would like the consultation notes to be sent to my doctor which shows that he cares.
Dr. Sorin is not very personable. While explaining my symptoms he interrupted me several times until he told me what he thinks I'm feeling. He sarcastically told me that I was using the wrong word to describe my symptoms. He seems like a know it all and is not a good listener in my opinion. On the plus side they do offer an allergy test as you wait.
I waited over an hour, but thought he was great when I saw him. He was really knowledgable, explained everything and didn't rush me at all. Actually one of the best doctors I have see. In a while. The wait was annoying but I would still see him again. The staff at the front desk were also really nice. When I got there, there was a little girl and her mom in the waiting room and they put cartoons on the tv in the waiting area for the girl.
Very informative & helpful
Dr. Sorin has been treating me for a variety of ear ailments for the last four years, each time with great expertise and professionalism. Richard P.
Procedure worked beautifully, solved the problem.
I thought him and his staff to be very professional and caring, I was delighted with the way I was treated
I have been to many ENT doctors but Dr. Sorin was the best by far! He offered me a device to help me with my right sided hearing loss which I have struggled with for all my life. He also offered me an in office sinus procedure to improve my breathing. This visit changed my life!
I had my first appointment with Dr. Sorin yesterday. The office is nice and clean, his staff were very polite and helpful (unlike the staff at many doctors' offices today). The wait was longer than I had expected, especially since I had a relatively early appointment, but I generally take that as a sign that the doctor is spending a lot of time with the patient. My assumption was correct. Dr. Sorin spent enough time with me to administer the correct treatment without me feeling rushed. I would definitely return to see him in the future.
I was more than satisfied. He answered my questions and was very helpful.
Dr. Sorin was very personable and professional. He explained precisely what he was doing in a straightforward and friendly manner.
Treated the problem with great care and concern.. A highly credentialed physician.
Great staff and great doctor. I travel from Staten Island to see this doctor. The best ear, nose and throat doctor in New York.
It was a very good one I ask questions he answered them. I left the office feeling better and understanding what going on with my body. Dr and his staff are good and I will spread the word of his practice!!
Dr was condescending in manner. I had an appointment but had to wait more than 1 hour past my appointment time.
He is thorough and spends time. I left satisfied.
I liked him very much. He is very Professional. His staff is also very good. i would highly recommend him.
Dr Sorin is very kind, compassionate and highly competent.
Dr. Sorin was very friendly and professional. He was attentive to my son and spoke directly to him.
Very productive appt. I was satisfied with the entire appt. Dr Sorin is very nice and did a thorough exam, as did the Audiologist.
The doctor was very professional yet personable. He was thorough, caring and informative. Even though this was my first visit to him, he made me feel like I was a long-term patient of his.
Dr. Sorin was very pleasant, professional and informative. His office was neat, orderly and clean. Staff was helpful and pleasant.
I am feeling better and breathing better.
Friendly and informative.
It was ok, he did some basic tests and asked me to come back after 6 weeks if things doesnt improve.
I believe the examine was thorough. Dr. Sorin was informative and explained in detail what was needed to do in order to alleviate my discomfort.
Dr. Sorin is a wonderful doctor. He is professional and has a great bedside manner.
Very productive and worth the wait.
He's great great but the wait time was too long.
This was my first visit to Dr. Sorin and he was able to give me an answer to my problem that other Doctors have been unable to do so far. He is extremely personable and reassuring. I have more testing to do but I feel confident I will be able to manage my situation with Doctor Sorin. I am very pleased with my experience today.
After less than five minutes I was seen by Dr. Debra Shepsman who performed a series of thorough and professional hearing tests. After the tests concluded she ushered me in the waiting room where I waited 15 minutes to see Dr. Sorin. I was welcomed in the room. I informed Dr. Sorin that I had been treated for my Serous Otitis Media condition by another ENT specialist 10 days before with steroid medication which had little or no effect. Dr. Sorin agreed with the diagnosis and told me the situation would probably resolve itself over time. He also informed me that he could do an ear drainage procedure right away that would take 10 minutes. After I saw my poor results from Dr. Shepsman's hearing tests and with the a new job on the horizon, I decided to go with the procedure. After a slight amount of discomfort (which Dr. Sorin predicted), my hearing was as good or better than I could ever remember. I thank Dr. Sorin for restoring the gift of hearing. I wholeheartedly endorse this doctor if you ever need an ENT specialist. Kudos also go out to his efficient, friendly and caring staff.
Not only would I recommend him I thought his staff was ex excellent.
I was impressed with both the doctor and his audiologist and left there hearing a lot better than when I arrived. I will be continuing my treatment in the weeks ahead.
Dr. Sorin is both very personable and professional.
