About Dr. Alexander Sorin
My name is Alexander Sorin, MD, FACS, and I am a board-certified Otolaryngologist with 18 years of experience practicing in New Hyde Park, New York. I earned my medical degree from New York University, where I also completed my residency in Otolaryngology. I also completed a fellowship in Neuro-Otology at the University of Minnesota. I earned my bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University.
I am a solo practice provider because I enjoy directly interacting with every patient in my practice, rather than employing physician assistants or nurse practitioners to bridge care. We accept all commercial insurance plans and pride ourselves on typically accommodating patients to be seen the same day or within several days of their requests. When necessary, surgeries are performed at NYU Long Island in Mineola or at an accredited surgical center within the area. I look forward to meeting and getting to know my patients and cherish the opportunity to provide optimal care.
