Dietitian
MI
Alex's nutrition journey began after two years of struggling to break into professional cycling. Frustrated by the confusing nutrition advice in his sport, he decided to return to school to enhance his nutrition knowledge and help others navigate this often contradictory field. After recovering from his own eating disorder and completing his formal education, Alex was awarded a Gatorade Fellowship at Northwestern University, where he collaborated with some of the nation's top dietitians and helped manage the university's football and soccer programs. Following his time in Chicago, Alex became the Director of Olympic Sports Nutrition at Liberty University, where he oversaw the nutrition programs for several team sports. Now based in Greenville, SC, Alex sees athletes and clients privately through his business, Second Arrow Nutrition Consulting. Alex is dedicated to helping athletes recover from harmful and misleading nutrition advice and enhance their nutrition to support their body, mind, and performance.
