We recently visited her practice, and it is so refreshing to have that one-on-one interaction and not have to wait to be seen by a doctor. She was very thorough in her questions but most importantly she was a great listener and addressed all of our concerns. Being a first time parent, the health of our baby is so important and at times we get worried but she has so much patience with us. My husband and I truly feel lucky to have found Dr. Alia to look out after our precious little one. ”

About Dr. Alia Hussain
Dr. Alia Z. Hussain has many years of pediatric care experience. After residency and chief residency at New York University (NYU) Winthrop Hospital in Long Island, New York, she moved to Jackson, Mississippi where she had a busy solo pediatric practice for a few years. For the last few years in the Woodlands area, Dr. Hussain has passionately provided care to children, from newborns to teens. She discovered direct pediatric care and chose this model of practice so she could have more time with her patients and provide them with the care that they truly deserve.
Dr. Hussain lives in Creekside with her three children who are 9, 5 and 1. She is an advocate for breastfeeding and having been a busy mom, she has the experience and expertise to provide support and advice to her patient's families.

Dr. Hussain is a knowledgable and highly compassionate physician. She pays great attention to detail and the feeling of her appointments is relaxed, thorough and not at all rushed. The added conveinence of the location and ease of making appointments is an asset especially for a busy working parent! The knowledge that you can reach her any time with your medical query is so reassuring. HIGHLY reccommed!

Dr. Hussain is such a pleasure to be around. During such an uncertain time her presence and reassurance is comforting with a sense of calm and normally. I highly recommend her service and knowledge to any family looking for a pediatrician. She is absolutely fabulous and I am so pleased she will be taking care of our son for many years to come.
