About Allein Howard
Allein Howard, PA-C, was a trauma and general surgery physician assistant until a dermatologic physician assistant treated her for a skin condition, sparking a fascination with the care. With her medical background, she was able to transition to her new field easily and join the team at Dermatology Associates of Central NJ, where she serves patients from their offices in Freehold, Union, and Old Bridge, New Jersey.
Her medical training began when she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Wagner College physician assistant program in Staten Island, New York. Her skill for the medical field showed immediately; she graduated as valedictorian. After graduation, she spent three years working as a trauma and general surgery PA at Jersey Medical Center.
While she enjoyed this work, it was no match for the opportunity she saw to use her medical expertise to help people transform their skin and feel more confident. She is passionate about her dermatologic work and loves finding ways to help people discover their healthiest, most beautiful skin.

Allein was absolutely wonderful. I moved out to Jersey and have been looking for a new dermatologist. She explained everything and what the follow-up would be after my test results come back in. I am so happy that she is in an office nearby, I would highly recommend going to see her.

Dr. Howard was truly amazing. This was by far the easiest and most pleasant experience I've ever experienced end-to-end! I booked online, completed my paperwork at home and easily uploaded to the site, arrived early and was seen early! She did a thorough exam, answered all of my questions, and was pleasant. The office staff were great, friendly and super accommodating. Their office is small, but there were very clear social distancing directions and there was no more than one patient in the waiting room at one time. It was truly a pleasant experience and I'm so thankful I saw her today!
