Dr. Anderson is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She first moved to Texas to attend college at the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelors of Arts with a double major in Plan II Liberal Arts & Spanish with a concentration in pre-med, graduating with high honors. She then moved to Dallas to attend medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern. She completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas where she was honored with the Excellence in Medical Student Teaching Award in 2005, 2007, and 2008. Dr. Allison practiced as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center – St. Paul OB/MFM Private Practice.
Dr. Anderson recently married her husband Matt. After spending a decade in Dallas, they were sad to leave, but were quick to recover and are thrilled to be in Austin!
In her leisure time she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family, as well as her three precious puppies – 2 Labs and a Dachshund. Dr. Anderson is extremely personable, outgoing, and is fluent in Spanish. Her focus is on her patients as individuals, in conjunction with providing an unparalleled level of patient care.

At first I was very unhappy about the wait, but the doctor apologized several times. She was very friendly & easy to talk to,she seemed to genuinely care about me and wanted to know all about me & what was going on. I felt comfortable. I would definitely see her again&recommend her
