Dr. Alyssa Hackett specializes in pediatric ear, nose, and throat care and treats only children, adolescents, and teenagers from birth to age 18 years. She trained at two of the world's best pediatric otolaryngology programs, completing her residency training at the University of Pittsburgh and diversifying her knowledge of pediatric ear nose and throat conditions with fellowship training at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She grounds her treatment plans in the most up-to-date evidence-based practice guidelines but also aims to tailor her recommendations to individual patients and families. Dr. Hackett is an active member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Hackett has made her home in Manhattan and is happy to be practicing at ENT & Allergy’s Upper East Side office. A mom of two young boys, Dr. Hackett loves meeting other parents, listening to their stories, and working with them to ensure their children have the best opportunity to be healthy and thrive! Dr. Hackett is dedicated to treating the full range of childhood ear, nose and throat disorders, including congenital head and neck masses, airway disorders, hearing loss, chronic nasal congestion, snoring and sleep apnea, and chronic infections of the ears, nose and throat.

I am delighted to share that we had a wonderful experience at the doctor's office today. We visited an ENT specialist, and my daughter received exceptional care. The doctor was very thorough and addressed all our concerns.

The nurse was really love and friendly toward our child. The office was decorated very kids friendly. Dr. Hackett was very nice and patient and through with the examination. She spent about 30mins with us. Let us know some issues that we did not know about, such as not to use Qtip and took out a surprisingly big ear wax.

So happy I found this practice and Dr. Hackett! I was able to be seen by the practice asap for two concerns during the same visit: an audiologist (for a newborn hearing test follow up after the hospital one wasn't passed) and Dr. Hackett released her tongue tie. Everyone was so helpful and lovely, from the reception staff to each of the doctors and nurses we met with. We were seen very quickly which is great with a little one. Office is A+
Our concerns & questions were all met with care and fully addressed. The procedure went well and she barely even cried. Really glad I came here and highly recommend it ??.
Also when I called the practice after hours there was someone to take my call which was an extra nice touch!

Great experience . My son is usually petrified of any medical appointments and the staff and Dr Hackett made him feel at ease . He loved the office and looking out the windows and the great toys and treats available . Dr. Hackett was clear in her explanations and spoke to us about our options . My husband always feel like when we go to medical appointments the Dr speaks to me and ignores him for the most part when he left he said “I like this doctor because she made sure she spoke to spoke to both of us “ lol so his seal of approval.
