It was my first time coming to this practice due to my ob/gyn leaving the practice I was going to and staff was very welcoming and prompt. I wasn’t in the waiting room 5 minutes before getting called back and Alyssa was very nice and relatable, she put my mind at ease and listened to everything single thing I had to say.

Alyssa Petry is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She recently graduated from Frontier Nursing University with a Masters of Science in Nursing and completed her undergraduate studies at West Virginia University. She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health. Before joining Lowcountry OBGYN, Alyssa was a labor and delivery/postpartum nurse for six years; four of which have been at East Cooper Medical Center. Her clinical focus is to educate patients on healthy lifestyles, provide preventative care and empower women of all ages.
Alyssa moved to the Lowcountry in 2012 from West Virginia and now resides in West Ashley with her English bulldog Gracie. In her spare time she enjoys working out, paddle boarding, volunteering, and staying active outdoors.
