About Dr. Amaka (Christine) Uzoigwe
Dr. Christine Uzoigwe is a highly qualified and experienced pediatrician. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and completed her residency program at Columbia University's College of Surgeons and Physicians at Harlem Hospital Center in NY.
Dr. Uzo, as she is fondly called by her patients, received her medical degree from College of Health Sciences at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. She completed her internship at the University of Nigeria, a teaching hospital. After completing her education as a medical doctor, she specialized in general pediatrics because, according to her, "children are the building blocks of any nation, therefore there is a great need to start them up very early in life to make for a healthy nation." She greatly emphasizes the need for health education and prevention and spends a great deal of her time educating parents and caregivers. Dr. Christine Uzoigwe is an excellent and compassionate physician with a great wealth of knowledge and experience.
She's not only a pediatrician but also a mother of great kids and hence understands the anxiety that lies in parenthood especially when one is new to said parenthood. She helps parents and caregivers through the anxieties of parenting and guides them down the right path. She is general pediatrician that prides herself on delivering complete and very high quality health care to her patients and families. Her other areas of interest includes asthma, obesity, sickle cell disease, preventive medicine, and public health. It is worthy of note that this practice does not accept straight Medicaid especially out of New York state straight Medicaid, For HMOs, The doctor must be the PCP, We do not accept accident patients especially non pediatric patient

We moved from Brooklyn to New Jersey and I drive long hours to Bring my kids to Doctor Uzoigwe, She is very trustworthy, very caring and compassionate. She cares more about my children than Money. Even when I have no insurance she still helps any way she can. We love her Greatly. We can not do without her.

I have always been very wellcomed and my children are usually very comfortable, they usually request to see Dr Christine even when there was no need. We are very happy, satisfied with this Doctor and I haven't seen any doctor that will replace her and I don't think I will see a better doctor than Dr. Inoigwe
