She was so nice and caring! you can't find small dr office like this anymore!! We will absolutely be back to see her!!!
He was willing to go out of his way to provide service after-hours to our newborn daughter and we appreciate that he is well-versed on a challenging medical issue. He provided great service in the face of COVID-19 and we would recommend Dr. Kochin to others.
It was an excellent visit, indeed the best doctor I have had so far since we arrived to NY more than one year ago.
Very attentive, listened and was very clear. Would recommend without reservation.

Dr.
Vivian Tsai

This was our first visit with Dr Tsai. The front desk staff were friendly and explainly clearly all documents that I needed to sign as well has how they handle collecting payment dor high deductible plans. The nurse was very nice and took my girls weight, height and blood pressure. Dr. Tsai saw my girls immediately afterwards. The doctor was very patient, asked alot of questions and examed each child carefully. They have another nurse that adminsters vaccines and takes bloodwork. That nurse was absoutely amazing! Having one special need non-verbal child, and another one that has small difficult veins she was able to do the bloodwork for all three of my girls. Ive always had bad experinces in other labs so I was glad that they didnt have any issues drawing blood for any of them. Overall we had a great experience and we will continue to come to this office.
He was very friendly, precise and kept me in the loop. As a mother that is important to me.

New York Pediatricians
The American Academy of Pediatrics defines pediatrics as “the specialty of medical science concerned with the physical, mental, and social health of children from birth to young adulthood.” In other words, a pediatrician is a doctor who provides a broad range of healthcare to newborns, infants, children and adolescents until the age of 18.
Pediatricians have varied preventative and diagnostic responsibilities, from conducting physical exams, to dealing with emergencies such as fractures. A pediatrician can gain additional training to specialize in fields like oncology, cardiology, urology, neurology or gastroenterology. Pediatricians have specialized training in managing children’s health and focus on treating childhood illnesses. This distinguishes them from other physicians and makes them well-equipped to maintain your child’s overall well-being.

A pediatrician’s training
After completing medical school, a doctor must undergo at least three years of specialized residency training in pediatrics. During the medical residency, the doctor is trained to treat a wide range of conditions. After the residency, a pediatrician may opt to take a written exam to be board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
When to visit a pediatrician
It is never too soon to choose a pediatrician for your child. It is important to find one who is gentle, yet competent to provide the best care. The first two years are known to be crucial in terms of a baby's development, and you will likely have to visit the doctor’s office a few days after birth, followed by frequent checkups for the first several years. Once your child has turned 3, the frequency of visits will lessen, as advised by the doctor.
Visiting a pediatrician for routine checkups, even if your child is not sick, can help promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent illness. Regular immunizations may be required, and physical checkups help keep track of the child’s health and development. You should feel free to make an appointment with the doctor, even for the most seemingly minor reasons such as medicines and behavior of the child. You can read this article for tips on preparing your child for a visit to the doctor’s office.
