Visit was good and fast today. We always get reminder call for our visits. Dr. Au is very good. She will ask my child question, also explain and addresses our concerns as easy as possible for us to understand.
My daughter Leya he's a patient of Dr Goldstein for 9 years since birth. Dr. Goldstein warm loving professional doctor that's my daughter loves her so much and happy to go see her. The service is excellent and fast.
dr. sandover is wonderful! she has helpful advice and is very thorough. our kids really enjoy her. i wish her staff was easier to reach via email -- they usually don't reply to messages, but this piece unfortunately seems out of her control.
Dr. Ben-Zvi is thoughtful, conscientious, kind and funny. He recommends appropriate treatment, doesn't overdiagnose / overprescribe, and genuinely seems to have his patients' best interest at heart.
So happy to find a nice clinic that is open on weekends and very accommodating to my schedule. Hidden gem ..we got all our camp forms filled out and returned on the spot. Thank you so much to the staff and Dr Jenny..
Dr. Kantrowitz was able to see us right away. She gave us clear, concise advice and was very considerate, gentle and warm with our infant daughter. We would definitely continue seeing her in the future.
Dr Kochin seems very knowledgeable. My son was a bit reticent to talk about his issues at first but the doctor did put him at ease. I thought his initial consultation was thorough. My biggest issue was the wait time. Also, his front desk staff were not that nice.
Survices was over all good. Dr. Zhu is attentive and will address our concerns. We were here almost an hour too early for our appointment today. But, there's some wait time usually reguadess if you arrive early or on time.
Dr. Soohoo is good. Visited her for many years. Always attentive and patient. Over all service speed has improved over the years too!
We took our newborn for her first visit and were disappointed. We had to ask for her height and weight in inches and pounds rather than her explanation of how many grams our daughter had lost and should gain as well as her current length. Her length was also incorrect, unless she's Benjamin Button there's no reason for our daughters length to be an inch and a half less than that of her birth. The most frustrating part though was her interrogation proceeding when we as parents informed her that we wanted to delay injecting our newborn with chemicals, which was followed by "If you want to continue to be seen at this clinic I highly recommend getting her vaccinated". As I understand it, it's a parents right.
New York Pediatricians
The American Academy of Pediatrics defines pediatrics as “the specialty of medical science concerned with the physical, mental, and social health of children from birth to young adulthood.” In other words, a pediatrician is a doctor who provides a broad range of healthcare to newborns, infants, children and adolescents until the age of 18.
Pediatricians have varied preventative and diagnostic responsibilities, from conducting physical exams, to dealing with emergencies such as fractures. A pediatrician can gain additional training to specialize in fields like oncology, cardiology, urology, neurology or gastroenterology. Pediatricians have specialized training in managing children’s health and focus on treating childhood illnesses. This distinguishes them from other physicians and makes them well-equipped to maintain your child’s overall well-being.

A pediatrician’s training
After completing medical school, a doctor must undergo at least three years of specialized residency training in pediatrics. During the medical residency, the doctor is trained to treat a wide range of conditions. After the residency, a pediatrician may opt to take a written exam to be board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
When to visit a pediatrician
It is never too soon to choose a pediatrician for your child. It is important to find one who is gentle, yet competent to provide the best care. The first two years are known to be crucial in terms of a baby's development, and you will likely have to visit the doctor’s office a few days after birth, followed by frequent checkups for the first several years. Once your child has turned 3, the frequency of visits will lessen, as advised by the doctor.
Visiting a pediatrician for routine checkups, even if your child is not sick, can help promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent illness. Regular immunizations may be required, and physical checkups help keep track of the child’s health and development. You should feel free to make an appointment with the doctor, even for the most seemingly minor reasons such as medicines and behavior of the child.
