I AM SO HAPPY THAT I DID! Dr. Kravitz put me at ease from the minute we met with her warm embrace. She was very present with my daughter and answered all of my questions. Great listener. I’ve seen her a couple times now, and while she is a little far from me, I don’t mind it because I feel like I made the right decision by putting my daughter‘s healthcare in her hands. Her team has been lovely thus far and that was also an important factor for me as every thing from scheduling and seamless communication can also impact the overall experience. About Dr. Amanda Kravitz
My decision to become a pediatrician was driven by my desire to contribute to the well-being and future of children and adolescents. Witnessing the transformation of young lives, guiding them towards healthy adulthood, and being a part of their developmental journey is an extremely rewarding responsibility.
The opportunity to establish long-lasting connections with patients and families, by providing consistent care, support, and guidance, further enhances the meaningful nature of my role as a pediatrician. I strive to make a positive impact on both individual lives and the broader community by nurturing the health and happiness of our future generation.
Dr. Kravitz is originally from London, Ontario, Canada. She graduated with honors from University of Michigan, where she studied Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She earned her medical degree at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in Boca Raton, Florida, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. She completed her residency training at Columbia University Medical Center/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in New York City prior to joining the Weill Cornell team on the Upper West Side.

Short wait time and very kind people all around, including at check in and the nurses. Dr. Kravitz is efficient and clear in her rationale and checks, and we couldn’t be happier continuing our son’s care with Weill Cornell!
