When I see the doctor again, it won't be at his Arlington location. There was zero handicapped parking available and the office was largely inaccessible.

Dr. Amar Gulati is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon devoted to high quality medical and surgical patient-centered care. Originally from the Northern Virginia area, he is excited to be back in his hometown to take care of patients.
Dr. Gulati received his B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Virginia. He subsequently worked in the medical field for several years before receiving his medical degree at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He then went on to complete a rigorous surgical residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital and Washington Hospital Center. He decided to further expand his training and skill set by completing an additional year as a Fellow at The Reconstruction Institute in Bellevue, Ohio. Dr. Gulati has a diverse skill set, specializing in 3D-printed implants, complex limb salvage, sports medicine, nerve surgery, soft tissue reconstruction, and total joint replacement.
In his free time, he enjoys running, cooking, music, and spending time with his family.

Wow, such a nice experience. We made a same-day appt for him to assess an ankle injury. Dr. G delivers very patient-centered care. He worked with my teen directly making sure that her voice was heard and giving her advice that helps her achieve her goals as an athlete.
I think we just found our podiatrist for life. Any foot problems, he is now our doc!
I was blown away by how personable, kind and un-rushed he was. He also told us to call him any time even if office hours are closed. Very nice person and knowledgeable doctor. Could not recommend more highly.
