The doctor's office was more organized than most; keep in mind the doctor is part of a teaching hospital, so the majority of my girlfriend's visit was spent with a doctor on fellowship and not Dr. Luong. However, my girlfriend overall was happy with the experience.

Amber Luong, MD, PhD, is a nationally recognized rhinologist who specializes in the medical and surgical management of nasal and sinus diseases. She completed her ENT residency training at UT Southwestern Medical School at Dallas and rhinology fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Her clinical interest in chronic sinus disease has driven her research focus, publishing more than 20 articles and book chapters on chronic rhinosinusitis. She has a particular interest in understanding how lower airway disease like asthma affects upper airway disease like chronic rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis. In addition to chronic sinus disease and allergies, Dr. Luong also treats and repairs tumors of the nose and sinuses, brain fluid leaks, chronic tearing and orbital fractures or complications from thyroid disease.

I was referred to Dr. Luong by a fantastic ENT I had seen in another city prior to moving to Houston. She exceeded my weighty expectations that came with the referral.
As a medical student, I was curious about my sinus pathology. Dr. Luong showed me anatomical structures, how they had been altered by past surgeries, where the problems where and how they translated into the symptoms I felt.
