Dr. Shamburger graduated from The Methodist Hospital Ob/Gyn Residency in June 2008. She joined Dr. Baden and Associates in 2008, and founded Friendswood Women in September 2010. She and her husband grew up in Winona, TX. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, she began medical school at UT Houston Health Science Center. She appreciates the small town feel of Friendswood and looks forward to providing excellent care to her patients as a gynecologist.
Dr. Shamburger has written chapters in two medical school review books, Case Files Psychiatry and Case Files Internal Medicine. She has been featured in an article in Memorial Hermann Health Highlights called Pregnant? You need Vitamins. Dr. Shamburger has also participated in a research project which was presented at the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine and the Texas Association of OB/GYN. She has also served as a Health panel expert on the Debra Duncan show, and been interviewed by Houston’s own KHOU, Channel 11 news for various medical and Women’s health topics.
