About Dr. Hari Krishna Susarla
Double board certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, H. Krishna Susarla, MD, completed his medical degree at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1999. He went on to complete his combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Case Western Reserve University, MetroHealth Medical Center, in 2003. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in September 2023, Dr. Susarla practiced in Hospitalist Medicine, primary care, and urgent care settings.
As a high school student, Dr. Susarla’s experience shadowing a cardiovascular surgeon as part of the DeBakey Summer Surgery Internship left an unforgettable impression on him, inspiring him to dedicate his interests toward the healing arts. As a pediatrician and an Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Susarla treats patients of all ages for preventive care and conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, low thyroid, asthma, eczema, acne, musculoskeletal injuries, and common adult and childhood infections. In his practice, he enjoys treating entire families, watching patients grow up, and sharing in their challenges and their triumphs.
In his spare time, Dr. Susarla enjoys reading history, philosophy, and classical Indian literature; exercising, and spending time with his family.
