After Completing his training he came to Texas and was an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Texas, in Houston. He served there for over six years prior to going into private practice. At the University his practice and research focused on complex problems- Traumatic, Degenerative and Neoplastic- of the Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar spine. In conjunction with TIRR Hospital, he led a Team of doctors and Physical Therapists in the treatment of various forms of Spinal Cord Injury and Head Injury.
