Whether you're looking for help managing your medications, engaging in psychotherapy, or something else, I'd be delighted to support you. I believe finding a psychiatrist shouldn't be as hard as it is, so I left my job in "corporate" healthcare to set up my own clinic and make it easier to do the thing I most love: connecting with my patients. Whether we build a relationship by playing on the floor with magnatiles or talking about our latest trip down the mountain, I care about getting to know you and partnering with you to address your needs. As I tell my community, psychiatrists are just normal people who know a little bit extra about mental health. What should a new client know about working with you?

I use an integrative approach to people feel better. Talking to me is a lot like having an ordinary conversation. A lot of folks who see me don't take medications; they may just engage in psychotherapy, lifestyle modifications, or alternative treatments! I make recommendations and you make decisions about your treatment!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We'll talk on the phone to make sure we're a good fit for each other. When we have our first session, I'll ask a lot of open ended and general questions and do my best to learn as much about you as I can in the time we have! We may touch on talk therapy principles, but it won't be awkward or jarring. And then at the end, I'll empower you to make decisions about your treatment!
