He earned his Podiatric Medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia , PA. Dr. Barnea is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (AACFAS), a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management .
Dr. Barnea has been practicing in New York City since 2006 with one of the leading Podiatric medical offices until he founded "Walk NYC Podiatry, PC". Previously, Dr. Barnea was a staff member at five hospitals throughout the Hudson Valley, NY, and served as the podiatric emergency room on-call attending physician as well a clinical instructor in a surgical podiatric residency program. He has expertise in orthopedic trauma surgery at a level I trauma center and also specializes in sports medicine. He frequently participates in speaking engagements and guest lectures.
