About Dr. Amulya Sajja
Dr. Amulya Sajja earned her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University and her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her residency in the HCA Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Program in Arlington, Texas.
A board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Sajja treats patients of all ages (newborn and up) for a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, thyroid problems, infections, headaches, asthma, allergies, anxiety, depression and more. She performs annual physicals, sports physicals and well-woman exams.
Among her clinical interests are preventative medicine, including immunizations, screenings and lifestyle management. Also, she has experience in managing complex medical scenarios and sending referrals to and communicating with specialists when appropriate.
Dr. Sajja follows a patient-centered approach to care. Understanding that each individual has a unique story, she listens to patients carefully and strives to communicate effectively. usually prefer doctors with a bit more experience, and she seemed fairly new. When I came in, I was sniffling, but she didn’t ask me anything about that or recommend anything that could have helped. A few more questions would have made a difference. While she seemed knowledgeable, she felt a little uncertain at times, which made me feel a bit anxious.
She also suggested a shot that’s supposed to be taken every 10 years, but to get it, you’re supposed to be well. Since I came in sniffling, with a headache and congestion, I’m surprised she didn’t flag that before the other person came in to give me the shot. Overall, I think I’d feel more comfortable with a doctor who’s more seasoned, a bit warmer, and more inquisitive — I didn’t quite get that from this visit.

Dr. Sajja was very lovely and had such caring bedside manner. She showed interest in my concerns about my health and presented various solutions. Her demeanor was inviting and friendly; I feel comfortable knowing she is now my PCP.
As for the office staff, my main feedback is upon walking in, amongst the 3 receptionist with whom none had patients in front of them, looked up and did not greet me. After several seconds, I initiated the greeting by saying Hello and stating why I was there, and through the interaction with the male receptionist, he was very stand offish and couldn’t be bothered. This certainly was not a welcoming scenario upon my first visit, and I hope they strive to do better with each patient that walks into the facility.

Dr. Sajja, the MA, and the rest of the entire staff was exceptionally sweet, professional, and highly detailed during my annual exam. I decided to receive the flu and tetanus vaccines and the MA was amazing at distracting me while doing the injections. Overall, this office exceeded my expectations and provided me with the perfect patient experience!
